Chester Music Society is a warm and welcoming charity dedicated to the promotion and performance of classical music in the city of Chester. We aim to share the joy of classical music with people of all ages and we’re passionate about inspiring our younger generation to appreciate a broader musical experience

Every year, we bring you around fourteen concerts including four stirring Choral concerts, with soloists and orchestra, usually held in the beautiful Chester Cathedral; six Celebrity concerts featuring professional musicians in St Mary’s Creative Space, and exciting Showcase
events where local amateur talent takes the stage. We also run a Young Musician of the Year competition
