1 – St Werburgh’s Church, Chester

St Werburgh Church Lego MOC Model Kit

This model was built to celebrate the 150th anniversary of St Werburgh’s Church in Chester.

The church was designed by Edmund Kirby in 1875. Edmund Kirby was an assistant to John Douglas in Chester, before commencing independent practise in Birkenhead in 1863.

This Lego 721-piece kit comes with building instructions and a custom printed “1875” brick. It is available to purchase from St Werburgh’s Church. An optional charity donation can be made when purchasing.

2 – St Mary’s Church, Eccleston, Chester.

St Mary’s Church in Eccleston, Chester was designed by the architect George Frederick Bodley. It was built in 1899. It is a ‘grade one’ listed building.

This 549-piece kit comes with building instructions. It is available from Eccleston Church of St Mary’s. An optional charity donation can be made when purchasing.

3 – St Mary’s School, Eccleston, Chester

This Lego MOC model kit comprises 866 pieces including a custom printed brick to match the inscription above the gable end window “Understanding is a well spring of life to him that hath it”.

As Lego no longer manufacture the windows used in this model, high quality second hand parts had to be sourced from all over the world.

The kit was created to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the school. The kit was presented to the school by the school governor to allow the pupils to construct the model ready for the 150th celebration.

The school was designed by the architect John Douglas and built in 1875. It is a ‘grade two star’ listed building.
